By using Vision Checker, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the tool.

Informational screening only

Vision Checker provides an approximate, self-administered distance visual-acuity screening. It is not a medical device, diagnosis, eye examination, refraction, prescription, or substitute for advice from a qualified health professional.

Results can be affected by calibration, viewing distance, browser zoom, display properties, lighting, technique, fatigue, and guessing. Do not start, stop, or change treatment or eyewear based only on this tool.

Emergencies

Do not use Vision Checker to assess an emergency. Seek urgent medical help for sudden vision loss, severe eye pain, eye injury, a new curtain or shadow, flashes with many new floaters, or sudden double vision.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful personal or educational purposes. You must not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, misuse advertising systems, generate invalid ad impressions or clicks, or represent a screening result as a professional diagnosis.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every result will be accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Third-party services

The site may display advertising or link to third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. An advertisement does not mean that we endorse the advertiser, product, or claim.

Disclaimer and limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of fitness, accuracy, or non-infringement. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or reliance on the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
